Novel Refresh News 09 June 2008
I have been, and will continue, reading through the whole manuscript again, looking for ways to improve on it. We are very close to being done with this refresh, I just need to make sure the changes and additions I did still make sense when you read the whole thing to the end.
My deadline for manuscript complete and cover art complete is the end of June. In early July, I will upload the PDFs to CreateSpace and see what happens. Not sure exactly when the book will be available, I know they require me to buy a proof copy and depending on how that looks, it could be sometime late in July or early August for final release.
I'm really excited about this version of Starstrikers and I hope it sells well. (That would be more than five, as it stands now) I have modest goals. ;)
As for marketing the book, there are many paths available to me but I will only walk down those that offer free passage. I may actually spring for some book marks, if I can get them cheap, but that is all I'm willing to purchase at this point. I will be relying on word of mouth, and internet magic to get this story to the people. With all the options available to readers, I think it's safe to say that there would be no excuse not to read the book.
