This weekend I purchased a Zoom H2 digital microphone in preparation for recording my stories and novels as podcasts. As soon as I can find a quiet place to work, I'll be recording a blog entry and posting it here for your listening pleasure.
One of the problems with podcasts is that only those who can hear can enjoy them. I'm also looking into ways to make the podcasts I do, accessible to those who are deaf. Why? It just so happens that my only beta reader for Tyrmia is deaf and I don't wish to exclude him from what I might say in a podcast.
My first recordings are bound to suck and be more rambling thoughts. But as I get better at it, I intend to transcribe them for Bill's benefit. If anyone were to suddenly volunteer to listen to the casts and transcribe them for me, I'd be most appreciative.
One of the first things on tap for the audio is to record my mystery novel that was just released in trade paperback and as an ebook. So the SF may have to wait until later in the year. But eventually, I want to record all my short stories and put them up on iTunes for free.
Stay tuned...
